Outpost Prints

A collection of four mixed media pieces made using a combination of relief monoprint and fine line drawing, inspired by the Scotland’s West Coast landscapes - sea, sky, mountains and islands.
The prints are based on the sketches made by the artist in Assynt in Summer 2021. A spontaneous creative process involving drawing following the lines suggested by randomly generated monoprint patterns produce unique and captivating results. Each piece tells a story and invites the viewer to explore the intricacies of the print.

Drawing: black pigment fineliner, waterproof and lightfast.
