Outpost Prints is a creative studio of Scotland based artist, Volha Druhakova, who works primarily in printmaking. While working as an architect following her Master of Architecture degree, Volha has completed a printmaking course at Gray’s School of Art and continued to develop her artistic skills through a combination of self-teaching and various art workshops. Volha’s work includes mainly linocut and woodcut prints depicting architectural abstractions and a fusion of imaginary and real places based on her travels to remote parts of Scotland.
Volha has exhibited her work in numerous shows and received several commissions, including Now and Then: Dalkeith Palace, organized by Visual Arts Scotland; the Precious Little exhibition at The Old Lockup Gallery; and the 2nd Wild & Tamed exhibition at Blue Koi Gallery, where she received an honourable mention. She has also participated in several local group shows. Looking ahead, she plans to take part in the North East Open Studios event and various art fairs.
